PHNTM Transforms Electric Forest Festival into an Immersive Wonderland
In an industry where expectations for live experiences are continually escalating, PHNTM Studios faced an exhilarating challenge: to design, produce, and operate the show for all four stages of the iconic Electric Forest Festival. From the grandeur of Ranch Arena to the nuanced spaces of Sherwood Court, Tripolee, and Carousel Club, our objective was not merely to meet the festival-goers' expectations but to surpass them. While also juggling the complex task of advancing all artist technical production needs, PHNTM embarked on an ambitious journey to create an unparalleled multisensory experience.
Challenge
Electric Forest is a renowned festival that celebrates a diverse array of music genres, art forms, and interactive experiences. The task of transforming four distinct stages—each with its unique vibe and musical focus—into immersive sensory wonderlands was nothing short of monumental. Concept
PHNTM delved into each stage's thematic elements to produce tailored experiences. From the electrifying Ranch Arena to the intimate Carousel Club, we created designs that elevated each location's natural beauty and ambiance. Solution
Months of planning culminated in an operationally complex, week-long onsite build. Our team meticulously executed each design while also coordinating with artists to fulfill their technical production requirements. This included overseeing the installation of state-of-the-art lighting rigs, video panels, and laser effects while ensuring impeccable sound quality across all stages.
Result
PHNTM's design and production transformed Electric Forest into a multisensory experience that transcended traditional festival settings.
